For those that still are convinced that if you nothing to lose (financially or morally) - you think you have no worries as you continue to defame others online -think twice. Life as you know it can become extremely stressful - now that I have the domesticated judgment for $11.3M - an examination under oath is being scheduled for the defendant.
If she chooses to be not 100% truthful, there are many legal ways to determine the truth and what assets have been transferred to avoid being ceased.
Garnishment of wages will be included and I am confident many people in today's times would not want to be part of this.
The moral of this is - be careful what you type online - it may not only come back to haunt you, but it could definitely cost you! With today's recession the last thing you need is a judgment for any amount.
Free Speech is still alive and well - but it will never condone defamation!
Google Bomb, my next book will fully cover this subject!

Sue Scheff Victorious Again - Free Speech does not condone Defamation
It has been almost 2 years since I won the unprecedented $11.3M jury verdict for damages that was done to me. In these past 2 years I have been contacted by many victims of Internet Defamation and Slander. You can feel literally powerless - however also know, that with my case, the truth is always your defense.
There have been many articles written about this new rage and growing concern not only with parents of teens online, but with business owners and regular people.
I didn't ask to become a limited public figure, and many people don't ask for this - with all the media attention I can be considered this since my initial victory in 2006.
I will continue being a voice against Internet Defamation - as well as working with my Senator and Congresswoman towards new legislation to help protect individuals and their careers.

Internet Defamation Can Be Costly!
Read through this Blog and you will see that free speech is still in place but it will not condone defamation.
Blogging is fun, the Internet can be educational - but remember, what you post today can come back to haunt you tomorrow. And could be costly to you!

Sue Scheff: Revenge is a dish best served ... online
Vengeance websites are giving angry women the chance to expose their ex-partners as love rats. David Smith on the rising tide of ‘e-venge’

As a victim of E-Venge (Sue Scheff) I know firsthand how deadly a few keystrokes can be to a person, a business and in life. I fought back - and won an uprecedented jury verdict for damages of over $11M for malicious and defamatory online comments.
Free speech will not condone defamation - this is not about the first amendment. I will continue to be a voice in promoting Internet Safety without infringing on free speech. My meetings with my Senator and my Congresswoman are the beginning of a long journey towards positive change.

Sue Scheff: A Voice that is Being Heard in a fight against Internet Defamation

Cyberbullying has become a past-time for some people, that in my opinion, have too much time on their hands. Wouldn't it be nice if they could find some constructive work that may actually help people?
Since I have been put in the media attention with my court victories including winning an unprecedented $11.3M jury verdict for damages, I am now working with one of my Florida State Senator's and we have our first meeting with our Congresswoman this month.
It is time to make Cyberspace a safe place not only for children, but for people that are being ruined by people with too much time on their hands - and people that believe that free speech is a free for all on the Internet. Remember, free speech does not condone defamation and libelous statements.
As I begin the garnishment of the defendant that has $11.3M judgment on her - it should be a reminder to all those that want to hurt others with a stroke of a key.
The "obsession" with me may not stop, but I will use it to help others and use it to promote Internet Safety. Taking all the negative and turning it into a positive result..... Fighting back against Internet Abuse and helping protect others from the type of harassment.

Rising above Internet Defamation - It is time to Fight Back!

THE FIGHT AGAINST INTERNET DEFAMATION STRENGTHENS! As attorney's and judges are reviewing these cases, the recognition for action is loud and clear. Fight back - it is your right!
Recently I have personally meet with both a prominent Senator and a well-known attorney. Both were completely astonished at the reckless regard for the truth that lingers on the Internet and agree, it is time to fight back!

Sue Scheff on being caught in the Net....
"In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity."
Through all the defamation and slander I have endured, and continue to endure - at the end of the day - the truth is always on my side.
I have been interviewed by some of the top journalists in the country and all have done their due diligence on my history in my fight as a Parent Advocate and a victim of Internet Defamation.

Sue Scheff - Being caught in the net....
Whatever can hurt you the worst, has the equivalent power to help you the most.
I received this in my email today - and it seems there couldn't be more appropriate words. For all those people that have written with notes of support, and those that are experiencing Internet Abuse. It is worth passing on to everyone.

Sue Scheff Being a Voice for others that are "Caught in the Net"
It would have been so much easier to run and hide, remove my websites, stop helping parents, stop being here for so many families that have used our information to help their situations - but I didn't.
Why? Because I believe in sharing my experiences (good and bad) - my mistakes (which I made a lot) - in hopes that others will learn from them. It has worked! There are literally thousands of people that have heard my story and have written me about their experiences.
With the recent increase in Internet Crimes, Identity Theft, Internet Defamation and simply invading personal lives of others - my voice stands out for fighting back.
I didn't take it - I went the legal route - and won in an unprecedented jury trial a verdict of $11.3M.
Then I retained Reputation Defender/MyEdge to further combat the destruction of my online reputation. It is not to hide information, but rather to bring the truth to the top!
I encourage others that have become victims of today's CyberWorld to lift your head up high, believe in yourself and don't feed the trolls!
Internet Terrorism is on the rise - don't get caught up in it - defend yourself and believe in who you are. At the end, as in my case, the truth will prevail.
